Born from the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, PRoTechos was built on a simple conviction: that the people of Puerto Rico shouldn’t have to wait for outside help to have a safe roof over their heads.
We are a community-based nonprofit that trains Puerto Ricans in carpentry and puts those skills to work — rebuilding roofs for families who need it most, in communities that are often overlooked by traditional aid programs.
No excessive paperwork. Just locals, building for their own.
