PRoTechos is a 501(c)(3) and PR 1101.01 as well as CECFL-certified nonprofit organization founded in response to the urgent need for trained carpenters and secure, resilient housing following the devastating Hurricane Maria.

Our Two-Fold Mission:

We rebuild damaged roofs in under-served communities throughout Puerto Rico, while providing residents with basic carpentry training. This approach helps improve living conditions by improving housing and addressing the shortage of skilled construction workers on the island.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is noble and essential: to rebuild the roofs of families and individuals living in poverty, while training residents of disadvantaged communities in basic carpentry skills. We focus on building resilient roofs, providing them with the necessary tools to integrate into Puerto Rico’s workforce and improve their economic situation.
